Dr. Tan is a highly experienced healthcare professional and clinical trial specialist with a unique 360-degree perspective spanning academia, clinical, industry, and regulatory agency settings.

She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and a Master of Medicine (by research) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has recently completed a Senior Executive Master of Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School and has participated in executive education programs at both Stanford University and Harvard Medical School.

Her extensive experience includes a regional leadership role at IQVIA, where she served as a regional medical advisor for global studies and spearheaded the creation of a new business unit for investigator-initiated trials. She also held concurrent appointments at prestigious academic institutions in Singapore, including the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University Health System, and the National Healthcare Group, where she provided strategic advice and played a key role in developing new initiatives in clinical trials education and training.
